Wouldn't Buddy be more like 20 years old here? Don't think they Fender pedal steels in '55.
Great picture regardless. _________________ www.facebook.com/countrydaveharmonson |

Here's the same photo extended into the wings at the Grand Ole Opry. Look who's hanging out; young Jimmy Day.

Notice Buddy's right hand position. By design or just the thing they did back then, which most do not do today. Growth, you gotta love it.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. See the metal box in front of the left front steel leg. All electric instruments plugged in direct to the board. There were monitors facing down on the stage from each side of the stage. That's for all on stage to hear everything all the time but the audience could not hear the whole intro until all was balanced but everything went out over radio. _________________ GFI ULTRA D-10, EVANS, FENDER 2000 (WORN OUT) TWIN REVERB W/JBL'S, OLD 4-10 BASSMAN |
