Hey ya'll

Been playing steel since October and been putting a lot of time in. Recorded this for a friend the other day. It just a demo, not anything final. Let me know what you think, what you would work on/improve ect...

Overall, I'd say you're doing pretty good for the time you've been playing! You're a little pitchy here and there, but that's to be expected as you're still developing your bar and tuning skills. The steel is loud in spots, and you're drowning out the vocalist and what little rhythm there is, but that can be "fixed in the remix". Other than that, I'd say you might also try adding some lower voicings on the steel to fatten things up, and provide contrast for the singer's voice.

It's a good first effort.
