Trying to implement Mike Seigler's C6 pedal into a double raise-double lower MSA, along with the Franklin pedal divided between foot and knee. Used Zane King's "C" pedal.
What am I overlooking?

Strings 4 and 8? _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects |

I'm assuming you are combining P4 & P5 to get a C6th. Or perhaps raise string 1 for the "G." I'll need an additional bellcrank for that.
Do my right knees give me pedal 6? I wanted the low "F" from the C6, although it's in the wrong octave.
The constraint of a double/double changer is the reason for using two pedals to get the C6. It's actually pedals 0 through 4, so CAB aren't way to the right. |

I'm very used to having the 4th string E to F# on LKV, emulating the "C" pedal. If you did that, you could have the standard "Franklin" lowers (middle B to A, middle G# to F#) on P2, and maybe even add the low B to A on P1.

The big thing that's missing from the P4+P5 C6th mode is the D9th chord. You would need to lower the G note back down to F# while keeping both C notes. Perhaps moving the 8th string raise on P3 to LKL. Combined with RKL, there's a C#9th.
Well, tomorrow I tear the guitar apart and set it up like this. Then try to play Texas licks. |
