Originally a worn D10, it has undergone a complete transformation. I took this on because the tone of this guitar was incredible!!...So heres the skinny...
New Blue Mica w/trim
2 New BL705 Pickups
New Case
New Leg bag
Split Changers, NEW FINGERS (black anodized)
Embedded Tuners
All Aluminum Polished to new finish quality.
New Fingerboards
The undercarriage will probably show a little wear, but has been thoroughly cleaned. I will probably make it 8+8..???...Depends on who emails me first I guess..
This will essentially be a BRAND NEW PRP, a guitar that Mullen no longer manufacturers. New these guitars sold for around 5000.00 in some cases...These old Mullen guitars are true classics, and with the addition of the split changers, have all of the functionality of the newer models...She should be ready by next weekend.....PM me for more info, or to discuss customizing it for you!..

Okay, Mickey, this thread has my interest up- basically, you've taken a very toneful guitar and replaced everything on it that touches the strings, and it still has great tone... so I'm reading the implication that much of that tone is in the body alone... very interesting... considering all of the forum writing expended on tone contribution/enhancement from all the other parts. Hmmm.
Wonderful job, BTW, looks beautiful!

Mark, Interesting point. I elected not to refinish my lacquer quad PRP for that reason. in this case it seems to have not changed the tone of the guitar at all...Also now that its clean, and adjusted correctly, it just sings!>....Thanks for posting!!
