Yes. Sorry, guys. I have a serious buyer but he too is asking for more photos. I should have posted the "guts." Unfortunately, I'm tied up with my daughter's figure skating for a few hours, then I can go home and take some more photos.

So I will take photos of the surface real, real close up so you can see any blemishes.

Also, I'll take shots "under the hood," as requested.

However, please be aware that if my serious customer decides to take the Fessy at face value, it's his. Same as for you. whoever commits first is the buyer.

I've responded to a few private messages, but with content that is "public."

HERE THEY ARE now so everybody has access to the same info.

I will answer your questions out of the order in which you asked them.

forgot re 1 question- no major damage- normal wear & tear. I am not trying to be evasive. I'm not home right now otherwise I would just take a whole bunch of close-up photos and let you be the judge. also I have to confess I'm not very much for aesthetics of the steel I just care what it sounds like so it may be that I have not even kept track

The numerical system you describe-what would be the anchor points on this on the scale and what do the numbers refer to?

Is it 0 to 5, 0 being mint and five= a mess? etc.

In coin collecting language I'd say very good (very fine?) to excellelent.

if there are scratches there probably around the tuning peg area

The main detractor from the appearance is probably that I've let dust buildup especially around the tuning peg area because it's hard to get at

I also. seem to recall that the pedal rack is somewhat discolored and stained and probably could use a polishing.

it seems like my price point was a good one and there's a fair amount of interest but when I get home if it has not been sold I am happy to take very very close-up pictures and post post them with the original post

Don't know if you got my last reply I get mixed up between emails and private messages. let me know if you didn't get it and I will send it to you in a different way

but I did forget to say that the legs on all these steels are adjustable so that all you have to do to change the height is screw down the legs or screw up the legs

not to be confused with screwing up the guitar
The guitar is black, as you can see in the pictures.

It has no mechanical issues that I am aware of.

It has been serviced several times over the past years by John Widgren.

I was a student of Bob Hoffnar when I bought the guitar and he helped me buy it. At the time he was also dealing pick ups and I believe he installed pick ups on that guitar. I think they're called tone aligner but we can ask Bob.

I'm selling the guitar for $2000 plus the cost of shipping.

I decided to sell the guitar because I was looking for a more complicated copedent, that is, I wanted some additional changes on the C6 neck. I realized that it would not be much more expensive to get a different guitar than to go to all the fuss of having additional levers set up on my current guitar.

If you followed any if the recent sales you may see that I purchased Curly Chalker's old guitar from Johnny Cox for a price no higher than what you'd pay for your typical high-quality D10. So the history and provenance of the guitar I'm playing now is practically free of charge-I couldn't pass it up.

I love the new copedents that I'm playing and I certainly could not afford to keep $6000 worth of guitar lying around. $4000 maybe, but 6000 no. The wife and all you know?

on the E ninth set up is Emmons. from what I understand that covers your raises on strings 5,10, 3 and six. Standard Emmons also covers half step raise on 4 and eight by left knee left and and halfstep lower on four and eight by left knee left right. right knee right lowers 2 either halfstep or full step. It's a feel stop. and it lowers 9 a halfstep

RKL only lowers string 5 a halfstep.

left knee vertical raises string 1 a whole tone & raises string 2 a half tone. I'm pretty sure-I barely use it also vertical lowers string 6 a full step.

on C6 pedal 4 raises both A's to B natural

all standard stuff

P5 rauses string nine a halfstep, raises string 10 a whole step, and string five lowers halfstep.

pedal number six raises string number two a halfstep from E to F and lowers string six from E natural to E flat.

pedal seven raises two strings both a whole tone. They would be string number three from C to D and string number four from A to be natural.

P eight raises string seven from C to C sharp, lowers string nine from F to E and lowers string 10 from C to A.

right knee left lowers string three from C to B

right knee right raises both A's to B-flat.

also, forgot to say, on E-9, pedal "C" is standard, raising 5 full step and simultaneously raising #4 full step.
