There is a serious lack of decent cheap steel guitars in this world. I'm Seeing Mavericks going for $700 + and it's getting worse. So... I am in need of parts. Heads, changers. I'm gonna make a couple that I can loan out to students and not have to worry about.
If anybody has a box of steel parts, let me know because if the price is right I'll buy them. I seem to have lost track of the guy who has the parts I need so I'm searching again.
I guess if it comes down to it, I'll start manufacturing ther parts but I'd rather not become a builder. I need enough stuff to put at least 2 steels together.

Forrest, There is a Sho-Bud Maverick in a music store in Okla. for $300.00. It just came in yesterday. The guitar has a good hard case with it and is in good condition. The knee lever has been removed but is supposed to be on its way to the store. You can contact the store at 918-396-9742.

Hi Forrest, send me an email and I will mail you the imitation Grover keys that came off the infamous RED PEDAL STEEL if you like. They have a rather long shaft (for wooden guitar headstock) but I'll bet you can find a use for them. Gotta keep the younguns playin' after all.
Best -- Dave
