Thank you Sid. As I mentioned in another thread, the Live Steel Strings nickel set feel just right under my hands and are sounding great on my new Mullen guitars. Now I understand what everyone was talking about. Again, I would expect nothing less from a musician and gentleman of your caliber and integrity.
Thanks again sir!

what..is every category on the forum just a big ad campaign now? why don't we keep all the salesmanship crap to 'new products ' and 'for sale'!!

Chris, I don't see this thread as an ad at all. I've always thought of this forum as a place for sharing ideas about steel guitar and everything that goes with it. That includes what gear people are using these days. I wouldn't have known about Live Steel Strings had I not read about them and the players comments on the forum. Lighten up buddy. I don't think anyone is gonna get rich providing steel products and information here.
Now here's an ad, "Live Steel Strings are great and I use them".

to tommy and zane, et al..it's one thing to get the accolades initiated from the users. it's another to get it plastered in my face from the manufacturer or dealer. save that kind of promotion for the sales promotion pages.

just my opinion.

I know that Sid is happy to have Tommy using Live Steel Strings, both Tommy and Sid are as good as it gets and the strings are also. They go on almost every guitar that leaves my shop.

Sid, I'd like a set of chris ivey custom strings whenever they become available. chris you know we enjoy your spunky self, and you playing is awesome. Don't stop being you, but seriously, I think you oughta leave TW and Zane outta this. Beyond their astronomical talent, they are two of the most humble and approachable pros we have here.

Me neither. Preparing for him to join the family.

I am working on a Designer Chris Ivey set for the C6.

They will all be Plain strings.

We can call them "Ivey League Strings"

I’m sure your C6th set will be successful but have you considered 7X19 extra flexible with a hemp core ? Razz

It is rare to be part of a forum where the manufacturer reps and endorsing pros will actually post and talk to you. I say keep it up.

Sid's Live Steel Strings have the best customer service around!! Extremely punctual and would bend over backwards to ensure customer satisfaction. Also, Sid's most recent recording, "Savvy," is a must-have in anyone's music collection. And with first-class musicianship and great people like Sid Hudson, Tommy White, Mike Johnson, Gary Carter and countless others, Live Steel Strings is a brand you can't go wrong with!

Tommy,

Just wondering if you'll be using the same E9 guages with the Live Steel strings as your previous endorsement set? I've used your nickel Jagwire sets on my guitar for awhile, and have tried Live Steel strings just recently...
