Cool pics Joe. As much as I'd worked with the Booth Brothers, I'd never seen these photos before. I'm with Jim Bob on them and like him I am not sure about the singer. Could be Willie but if not I have a feeling I'll know once you tell us !!

Have a great Thanksgiving.

Sincerely'
Chris "Tiny" O.

Thought the singer resembled Townes Van Zandt, but he stopped touring in 1996-1997.

Tiny
That photo was one of many taken of the Tony Booth Band at the Academy of Country Western Music awards show in Los Angeles, the West Coast answer to the CMA.

Tony's band, house band at the Palomino Club, was the perennial winner in the "Non-touring Band" category. I saw that band hundreds of times both at the Pal and jamming with them at the after-hours sessions at the Imperial Inn. Fantastic group of players, as you well know.

Happy T-day, Big Guy! Wink

As usual Herb ,your right on. More than than often I use to hang out at the "Rag Doll" Jimmy Snyder and Johnny Davis and company and like the PAL you never knew who would show up. Sundays we (lee Ross and meself)usually wound up at the PAl but after making many rounds. Man those were great times.
