As always Bill the pictures are great and add to having more memories. I just want to thank all the players for sharing their talent with us. Thank you just doesn't seem enough but I want to acknowledge the hard work of the people behind the scene. Connie Harrington, Eva Myrick, Barbara Rosetta, and Donna Newberry thank you for all your hard work in keeping us fed and hydrated. Donley Harrington did a great job on the sound and helping with setting up players. We all missed not getting to hear him sing, but hopefully his voice will get better real soon so he can continue what he really enjoys doing. Larry Garrett you did a fine job of being the mc of the show as well as helping with the set up. It was really good to have Virgil Pittman back to play this year. Bill Myrick always does a fine job with the pictures and does an awesome job of playing too. Leah Randolph and Linda MCGee thank you for your help also. Feel free to add people I may have left out. Without saying the band did a great job. Mike MCGee on lead, Clark Cox and Larry Jackson on drums, Bob Dell on bass and the one and only Roy Rosetta on keyboard. What would we do without the Hanley's to get us off on the right foot on Sunday! Thank you so very much to all the steel players and their side people in making our show a great success. I know some of the steel players are not on computers but if you know some that is not , let them know how much the SSSGC really appreciates them giving their time in playing. People asked about Ben Chesney, his barn got struck by lightning Thurs. night so had to cancel. He lost a lot of material thing but his little pony did get out. He trains horses. Ben we're sorry for your loss. Thank you Larry Garrett, Virgil Pittman, Donley Harrington, Ben Chesney and Bill Myrick for all the hard work and dedication in keeping the club going. God Bless everyone! |

We had a great time for sure. Larry King also did a fine job playing bass and singing with several performers. |
