I'm trying to play the short intro part (starts at about 3 seconds):

I'm playing it at the 15 fret, using AB pedals, but it doesn't sound right. Anybody have any suggestions?

We added this song to our set list and have also struggled with that little intro section. I am not 100% certain this is played on Steel .. could be on lap steel but
here is what I have come up with ... but it is tricky to play this way so I think it is something else .. guitar or lap steel.

in place of the 8C on the 4th string you can play 8 on the first string, but it lacks the bending sound in the song. Dunno.

Thanks Leo. I'm actually playing the same notes on the 15th fret! I just think it's not actually pedal steel on the recording (maybe even keyboards on a "pedal steel pad"), hence why it never sounds right.

I also play it on 15th fret, really easy. Josh Bertrand who plays with Toby told me that he plays it on the steel, just using some distortion with a rat keeleey modded pedal.
