I am just putting the finishing touches on a book I've been hard at work at and conceiving for more than a year. This is a book on the major scale and its modes for C6 tuning, and is presented in a unique way which makes it conducive to steel guitar, and in particular C6 tuning. The book goes fairly in-depth on demystifying modes and some music theory without getting too crazy.
We've all seen those diagrams where every note of the scale is filled in on the neck--this is not anything like that, but instead focuses on tetrachord shapes and the different modal variations. Sounds a little weird, but it isn't. It is simple and it will get you playing everywhere on the neck, any scale in any position. This puts tons of melodic possiblities under your bar and frees you of the position trap. The book focuses on a sector of C6 tuning that is on 6 string, 8 string and pedal steel guitars.

Jouni, I'll eventually release an eBook, but that will be some time down the road, as I'd have to work on embedding all the links, etc. in the text.
I probably won't make that available until at least May.
