My Goodrich steel driver III has recently started acting up. The two problems that occur are (not at the same time):
(1) Feedback or humming
(2) Radio frequency (i.e. I can hear a spanish station coming through my amp sometimes!)

I've disconnected everything and traced these issues to the SDIII. I've also replaced the batteries.

Both problems are usually fixed by either re-inserting my cables, or just jiggling the connections.

Should I try some electrical contact cleaner? Or is a wire lose/broken? Or something worse?

I have two gigs this weekend so I can't ship it out to Goodrich (may just do this next week if I can't seem to figure it out).

BTW, my signal goes PSG->SDIII->Volume Pedal (Goodrich)->Peavey 1000.

Any suggestions/help would be great! Thanks!

Check the solder connections on the female jacks, clean them, and make sure there's enough tension to grip the male jack tightly. Sheesh! Sounds sexy!
