That is Paul Franklin on steel. Indeed a short but great solo  that I very much like. Should not be hard to play I guess.

Steve,
I thought I'd give it a try.
This is in Musym Tab (# = half tone raise; X = whole tone raise b =halve tone lower).
In the 4th measure C, Paul raises the 1st string a whole tone but if you do not have this on your steel (I don't) you can alternatively go to the 15th fret as indicated.

I forgot that (in the 4th measure C) you can also pull the 1st string with your finger to raise it a whole tone and the lower it again by releasing it. In fact this is what I would prefer, I just did not think of it yesterday.

Yes, Ad, I was going to mention pulling the first string if a player does not have that lever change. It comes comes in very handy and is quick to "pull off" (pun intended) in many instances.
I found your tab most helpful and will try to add to it by tabbing out some of the Joan Osborne version of this song where the solo is extended. stevet |
