I talked to Chris a couple of weeks ago.
I asked him why he hasn't posted-
This is so Chris Ivey-
He says he likes the fact that his stats says he has posted 6666 times and he wants to keep that number there.

That's Chris...

You would probably get an answer if you PM'd him...

or maybe not....

Interesting about his posting history. I noticed that earlier when searching for any recent posts.

Question has been addressed. Thanks Jay.

Personally, he can stay away for good as far as I am concerned.. He has always made an extra effort to be nasty to me as often as possible.. He may not have posted here in a while , but took the time to send me some miserable PM's a few weeks ago over a post I made that was of NO concern to him, but felt the need to make nasty comments nonetheless... I guess if he likes you you're ok, but if not, ... Guys like him are the main reason I stay away from the SGF a lot more than I used to... bob

He should want to change that number. It is too much kin to the mark of the beast and that is scary.

Chris has always treated me with respect, both online and pm/email.
He is witty, dry humored and always has something nice to say. He has won my respect at the same time that I have won his.

I'm convinced Chris set up his steel guitar work station inside his closet, working up Lionel Richie tunes as instrumentals.

I was just curious if something was wrong. With Jay's explanation and confirmation that everything is good, my curiosity is satisfied.

Chris will come back when he's ready. As far as I'm concerned, this topic can be closed.

Stuart and I have referred to Chris as Poison Ivey several times.
He’s the only person on the Forum who could make us smile and want to punch him at the same time.
We miss that.
