Hey guys n gals,
Selling my Steel..It has only been used in my home....I just have to much stuff going on gear wise and need to make room.It has 4 polished knees,3 foot(black)it is a standard set up(not day)The case is a make due and will protect it...from non smoking and pet free home,any questions,just ask away.Thanks everyone

| Kevin, I am in the market for buying a sd, would love to see a pic of the mechanics under the guitar if not asking to much? I have to move the floor pedals all the way to the right side because I have played that way for 30 years, I had polio in my left leg and could not work the pedals quick enough. My sd 10 sho bud I did myself that way with no problems, it was a pro one but I built a new sd cabinet and covered the hard rock maple with blue formica and put a metal neck on it, it played great for years, but now the changer was partially pop metal and is worn out. I was told Mullen is a great guitar. I just want to see how much room your guitar has at the changer. Thanks, Rick |

Hi Rick,
I sure can take some pictures of the underside early tomorrow.Maybe someone here would be kind enough to chime in on wether there is this kind of room available under there...as this question is beyond anything I can tell you.Look tomorrow for pictures...and I would welcome any comments on this question that Rick's proposed

Yes, the pedal bar can be machined to put the pedals on the right side...And id be happy to help you get this done, and configure the guitar for you if you get it Rick..

| Thanks Kevin, and thanks Mickey for the info, looks to be pretty simple to switch on the Mullen, I will also switch both E,s to the right knee and thats just a matter of sliding the bell cranks and shorting some pull rods, left knee will be 1st string & 7th string, and 2nd string and 9th string. Kevin, I really only need the guitar & case if you willing to seperate? Can you let me know what it would cost to ship to 45619 in Ohio? Mickey, I may yell for some help if I run into a problem. | Kevin, got the e-mail, I apologize not responding, I havebeen trying but it keeps saying problem. I am on dial up internet and it is very slow and gives me lots of problems, its all I have available where I live. I can,t give you a answer on the guitar til monday, if you still have the guitar. Kevin....FYI...your string #8 is outta whack....The lowering finger is pulled out...you might want to back off all the hexes on string 8 and reset them...If your having an issue with it, call me and ill explain how to adjust it for you...

| What all is involved in having something shipped to the USA...i have never done that before and dont know what kinds of extra taxes are involved. Thanks for any help on this....I wouldnt want to purchase it and then find out it cost me a whole lot more than I thought. It is a great looking steel ! |

The changer lowering finger on string 8 is pulled
away from the comb plate. This means the hex nut
for 8 lower is WAY too far in... No way to effectively
tune this lower until its reset..and as I look closer
It would appear that there are several other strings
that are not correctly set. No need to worry. There's nothing
"Broken"... Just badly out of adjustment...

| Probably got pulled out by accident and is just stuck out side the (comb plate) or slotted changer plate. Bet you can push it to the side it needs to go and it will snap right back into place. Can't imagine a nylon tuner in that far. |
