$700.00 and I'll pay shipping. I have 25 guitars and this one hardly gets played. As a matter of fact, only a handfull of the herd gets played and I seem to favor hollow or semi hollow guitars now a days.

I deleted the previous pictures as they were dark and used another camera under a light & flash so they show the beauty of this instrument.

This is my first time sending a picture. I think I figured it out and hopefully the pictures are clear? |

Hey Jim:
I wish I could take credit for figuring out how to post a picture but the fact is, Doug Baumier walked me through the process. Hey there is hope for an old dog learning a new trick |

A forum member contacted me and asked where the guitar was made and how old it was. There is no indentification on the instrument. but the serial # is:
1400175 and it has Kluson Delux tuners. I seem to remember someone mentioning that the JD Omniac was a custom shop model but I can't verify that statement. There must be some Tele Forum that has some info so I'll see what I can find. Nice workmanship and it has a five bolt neck. I'll also restring with gauge
string you use if you decide to purchase.
OK, I found some information on the Peavey Jerry Donahue Tele and it is made in the Peavey Custom shop in Merridan, MS USA.
You can check out some comments on the guitar here:

Hey Jim:
A bit off topic but do you still have that old Morris Minor?
I think at one time I sent you a pic of my 1957 Borgward. You never forget your first steel guitar or your first car.

Len, I sent you an email on the Omniac.
Those are cool, but when I dream about cars, it's more like this (owing probably to the years I spent at Chrysler in the 70s):

You guys are killing me! I hope I sell the Tele but there is something about old cars that has a place in my heart. Jim, that is a cool car. Living in the past is not a bad with our dream cars is OK.

Well, I guess it took posting a few old cars to sell the JD Peavey Tele but it is SOLD to a Foum member . Donation to forum upon transaction.
I have an amp I may sell and will post a picture of my pontoon boat if that expedites the sale? Just kidding
