guitar is in great shape and just want to know its value. everything works except the volume nob and probabley an easy fix

Circa 1939-ish Silver Hawaiian. In excellent condition these have been having trouble getting much more than $1K. I can't tell from the reflections if that's scratched up or not.

ery light wear and tear. needs to be polished probably. no nicks or chips and is in excellent shape

I believe it is nickel plate so def be careful--no abrasives.

Since your planning to sell...

Be advised that some people would rather have a slightly weathered guitar with as close to its original finish and patina. Wipe off the dirt with a soft clean wet rag. Then...

Get very high quality photos taken of it. The condition will show in honest truth and your buyer will know what they are getting -- if they are the polishing type they will know it'll all buff out. If they are the patina type, they'll see it in its glory and drool even more.

At the very least, turn off that flash and put it in really good light and make sure you are in focus. It may even be worth it to take it to a local photographer for a few bucks. The walmart portrait studio would have a ball...
