I´m happy to tell you all that Mickey Adams is on his way to Koeping, Sweden for yet another fantastic seminar! We´ll give him the warmest welcome with two feet of snow! He will soon know the true meaning of frost bite! Ha! Fortunately snow is outdoors... Very Happy

So now the Sweden Pedal Steel Guitar Seminar is over for this time. It was a total success again! We spent two full days of inhaling, absorbing, eating all that Mickey Adams provided us with in terms of Pedal Steel Guitar. And it was a lot!! Very Happy

Thank you, Mickey for sharing your expertise with us! We are so grateful! I honestly think your fellow pickers over there don´t know what a teaching talent they have next door! But over here we know!
Guys (and gals), if you think Mickey´s YT videos are good, wait until you´ve experienced his teaching skills on a seminar!

Thank you, all of you attending! We had a fantastic jam Saturday evening (...and night Very Happy ) Boy did we play a lot! One unexpected experience was when someone in the band started playing some reggae tune, the rest of the band picked it up, Mr. Hallgren took his trumpet (?!?!) and Mickey followed along on the PSG. Dang! It rocked!! And it proved the PSG can be used even in reggae! It sounded great! After that I had to get everyone back on track again...meaning back to some real country music.

Anyway, it was a great weekend!

Thank you all!

/Sven

Being a steel player is a bit like working as an undercover spy – they are not allowed to talk about their work, and we can't find anyone who is even remotely interested or who understands a word of what we say.

So the best bit of a seminar like this really is getting together with 25 guys who actually care for the weird electrified cheese slicer and the sounds it can produce.

All in all, a total success. If I had a hat, it would be off in a salute to Sven-Olov and Mickey!
