I just got a call to play on the Gord Bamford tour of east coast Australia starting at Tamworth in January.Just received the charts etc.Great singer,great music,Im really going to enjoy this.

My sincere apology to Bob. Knowing that Jeff has played with Gord for a long time, I never put 2 and 2 together when I read in your message about having received the charts. Shame on me for 3 weeks! Embarassed

Congratulatios Bob , that's awesome ... will be a great experience for you too ! Playing for those guys is just something different !
Hope all is well , have fun in Tamworth , ill give it a miss this time as i used all my annual leave days at work . Might come up next year for the steel convention, Cheers from Tomi...

Congrats Bob, sounds like fun. I wonder if Gord is still performing ' My Heart's a Genius '. There is a steel solo in there by Mike Johnson that is a major piece of work. Will you tackle it? Whoa!

Thanks everyone for the well wishes.Bent,3 weeks seems pretty harsh for a small blonde moment.(lol) Bill,I'll tackle just about anything but I sure aint no Mike Johnson.I u-tubed the song and I agree, that is some major steel work.I can breath easy so far.(it aint on the set list).....(so far)
