Bruce Heffner's recent questions about counter-force mechanism adjustment on his Emmons LeGrande III got me wondering about this. LeGrande III players, do you find that the counter-force mechanism requires frequent adjustment and attention?
Thanks,

On the used guitar that I bought, it doesn't need any adjustment to stop any cabinet drop, but I haven't really messed with the way it is preset. I do find the pedal action stiffer and shorter than a Legrande II, but that may be the way the original owner set it up. He liked stiffer shorter action. I'd like to loosen it up a bit. |

I've had 2 LG III guitars and neither required a second thought. I believe if they are set up correctly, there is very little adjustment needed.

I also have two LeGrande III's with the counterforce units and have never had a need to touch them. |

Almost never. Going from light to heavy gauge strings may call for a slight adjustment. But it only takes a few seconds.
