He got way up there in Hughey land didn't he. The video was too dark to tell, but that sure sounded like Reggie on the fiddle?

I saw Carp playing with Tommy about a month ago. He blew me away! Never repeated himself in four hours. He just kept digging deeper in the well. Great band. My old bandmate-buddy Mark Kalson was on fiddle that night. I think that's Reggie in the video. Mark plays left-handed so it's not him Wink

Wow! This clip of Carp is amazing! What a player! Tommy is always great. Looks like Jess Meador on fiddle to me? RP

Gary built the Rains guitars for several years. He still plays a Rains as well.

Paul, I was just ribbin Randall. We both know Gary Carpenter. He and Randall are good friends. We also both know Bobby Rains. Thanks for being informative though.

Paul King said "Gary built the Rains guitars for several years."

Does Gary still build and work for Rains?

Darrell, I barely know enough to comment, but I think someone else is building the guitars and Gary does the final tweaking on them when they are finished.

Curtis Hogue bought the company from Gary earlier this year. Curtis is doing a great job on building the guitars. Gary does stop by occasionally for parts and is there should Curtis need his advice.
