Thanks, Alex. Much appreciated. Didn't know it was Lloyd on that album.

I'm not sure Lloyd plays on all the tracks, but that one sure sounds like him!

I know it's the same notes, but I've always played that last phrase at the 1st fret instead of the 4th & 3rd.
Tab:
1 _______________________________
2 _______________________________
3 _______________________________
4 _______________________________
5 _______________________________
6 __1B__1B__1B--1________________
7 _________________1______1______
8 ____________________1E_________
9 _______________________________
10 ______________________________

I do it that way because I'm used to the B+E position for a 7th chord, and it sounds like a 7th chord lick to me.

As a newcomer to the PSG, these posts have been very helpful. Now I'm wondering how to figure out the best way to pick it with my right hand. Is there a right or wrong way?

Scott, every player will tell you a different way to pick it, so try out several ways and stick with the one that feels best to you.

By the way, I've always played the 3rd measure like this:

Tab:

  Am
1--------------------|-
2--------------------|-
3--------------------|-
4-------8L---------3-|-
5--8~8A----8~8A------|-
6--------------------|-

The 'L' on string 4 is a half-step Lower. This note could also be played on the 2nd string.

Hi Tucker,

I also played it this way at first, but whenever I tab some Lloyd Green, I look for an option that doesn't require a lower on the 4th string... but yes, the way you wrote it works very well too.

I'll post the whole song as soon as I have a few hours to work on it...

That's right, Alex, if Lloyd played that lick in the 8th fret, he would have used the 2nd string rather than the 4th string lower.
