Michel is absolutely a top shelf musician. Fabulous Steeler and just as good on guitar. He is always friendly and willing to share his extensive knowledge of the Steel with anyone. Super nice man.

Michel (pronounced Michelle) formerly of Mauritius, is one of Australia's top steelers & together with Stuart French, formed The Feral Swing Katz a hot western swing band.
Also top session pickers, their names appear on a great many albums across various genres produced in Oz.
Check out some of the Ferals numbers.

thanks for posting that clip Greg.Redd has a great unmistakeable style,as does Michel.We caught up with each other backstage at the Gympie muster on Sunday and as always(to quote Ivan)friendly and willing and always makes you feel special.An inspirational player.He was playing with Adam Harvey.Hi to Ivan and Allen.

Great clip. Thanks for posting. Michel is indeed a fine picker and a hellava nice guy. Like all true great players he makes it look so easy. He plays a mean mando too!! Always willing to share.
