I personally would not trade a D10 Marlen for a S10 Lloyd Green model Bud. I've never thought that this model was all that spectacular. Monetary value is a different story. The LDG models have good resale value while the Marlens don't seem to fare very well. In my own opinion, this represents simple fickleness in the used market secondary to brand recognition. I personally think that your D10 Marlen is a much better built guitar. Folks... note I said that this is my own opinion. I like Buds, just not the LDG model.

You'd have to compare condition... but I am here to tell you that the LDG, if in original condition (especially original pickups) is one sweet sounding guitar. I own two, and would not consider any other PSG to play... and I've played several. Everyone has their own opinion... and I stick to mine. If possible, try to play both and see which one feels and sounds good to you.

Bob, FWIW, most of the used LDG's I see on the market go for around $1300. Don't know about the Marlen...
