We, the SSSGC wish to express our sincere thanks to the players and their families for making our show a success this year. Also to their families and the public. I was shocked when channel 5 out of Fort Smith came to film some of the show. On the clips I saw were Wayne Morton and Rick Crow playing. It had sound boys and you all sounded great. Also did a interview with Ray Qualls about learning to play the steel guitar. Also it showed Ronnie Neighbors setting up to play. Took a short scan of the crowd. They also interviewed Larry Garrett but I haven't seen it yet. Also thanks to Connie Harrington, Donna Newberry, Eva Myrick and Barbara Rosetta for the hard work you did in serving the food. There were so many people who worked so hard to help out with the show. Ben Chesney did a good job keeping us on time, Wanda Chesney and Dorthy (forgot last name Confused ) Leah Randolph and Pat Cox helping with the 50/50 and the people who won and gave back to the club. Bill Myrick, Donley Harrington, Larry Garrett, Virgil Pittman thank you seems small but the show would not have happened without you. Jerry Roller thank you for giving the club a portion of each cd you sold. Smile We also need to express thanks to Doris Garrett and Donna Newberry, Connie Harrington and Eva Myrick for making the food which was great! Jerry and Venda thank you for the great worship service. Starting the day with the Lord always brings on the sunshine. My sister Judy Jones and my friend Linda Ball missed their church service in Fort Smith to drive up to hear your service. All the players did an outstanding job. For some it was the first time playing at our show which includes Terry Bethel, Wayne Morton and Corky Davis. Jerry Newberry and Louie Hallford congratulations on your well deserved awards. Bill Myrick will be posting pictures later. THANKS from all the members of the SSSGC. Virgil everyone missed not seeing you! Get better real fast! It goes without saying Roy Rosetta, Bob Dell, Clark Cox, Larry Jackson, Jimmy Dreadfulwater, Ben Chesney and Jack Brown did a great job of backing each player. I'm sure I have left someone out, if I have I apolgize but maybe someone can add them for me.

Oh My! Our playing and Waynes good looks, I hope we didn't destory next years show.

Norma Jean, thanks for allowing me to play this year. Like Ol' Wayne said, I had more fun playing this show than any I have ever been a part of. The SSSGA is always first class. Marion and I could not have enjoyed ourselves more.

Wow, what a great show! It was like coming home for me. So good to see old friends and even made some new ones. I enjoyed everyones playing and what a variety of songs that was played. I can't name all my favorites but I have to say that I really enjoyed Jimmy Dreadfulwater and his 3 piece band. What a great looking head dress that he wore. I like variety and I know the crowd enjoyed him. Thanks to Norma Jean, Larry Garrett, Donley Harrington and Ben Chesney for all the work getting prepared to put on the show. First class players, first class backup band and most of all, first class audience. Thanks for carrying on a tradition and I'm looking forward to next years 19th show. Ray

Forgive me Mike McGee I left you out on playing lead guitar on Ray's set! I was very much impressed. Smile I knew you played steel and bass very well but had only heard you play rhythm on the guitar. You have some rock and roll in you! Smile Smile
