well I just have one comment. This seems like a great price for a PSG S10 3/4 and with the option of "OBO" That kind of puts the Bottom Line in the Buyers hands, with in reason. I know without the case may be a short term problem, but there are even solutiions to that. But $650 or OBO, Makes one think. OK, more than one comment!!!!! |

I understand, but thats the price he asked me to put on it, there's nothing wrong with it just some bar dings. He's looking to save up for something else, he's only 17 so he's trying to find another steel. Once, again this is the price he asked me to put up. |

Nicholas,
Just as a suggestion, and I hope the administrator doesn't take this the wrong way as I have had great luck both selling and buying a steel from this site both within the past two weeks.
Anyway, my suggestion for the Carter Starter specifically would be this. Trying Ebay opposed to this forum and I only say this for this reason only. I believe the folks on here are more likely looking to buy upper end guitars as these guys/gals all seem to be seasoned musicians for the most part.
For example. Just today, I myself listed my own Carter Starter on Ebay with a buy it now, with the case and shipping included for $825 as I found a guitar on this site that I decided to buy. Well, my Carter just now sold in the past hour and I already received the funds via PayPal and the guitar will ship out tomorrow morning.
So again, not to take anything away from this site, as again I find it extremely helpful. But in this particular scenario I think you may have better chances of moving the Carter Starter on Ebay. If you search the completed sales for the Carter Starter, you will see that just in the past few days alone 4 of them have sold all over $800 price point.
Just trying to help you out. I just hope the mods are ok with my suggestion in this particular scenario. Maybe this young man will sell his Carter Starter for a little more on Ebay, then be able to come back over here and buy himself another guitar and the seller will make a donation to this site (in fact I myself need to do so for the guitar I sold on here last week, will do so tomorrow)!
Here is my item # on Ebay just as a reference:
261005129171
As you can see it was only listed for not even 12 hours. Good luck... _________________ Been at this damn thing for a few years now. Not so sure that I'm getting anywhere but it is fun. Sometimes. |
