Hi,
I'm from Germany and a guitar player for many years. I started pedal steel a few weeks ago and practice with Winnie Winston's book and what I find on youtube (mostly Mickey Adams). My family and me will visit Nashville at the end of May and I'd like to take a one or two hour lesson then. Although I think I don't do too bad, I'm sure it'll help if an experienced player takes a look and an ear on what and how I play.
Anybody having a recommendation for a teacher close to Nashville? If it's somebody with experience in Emmons Push-Pull guitars even better! I would extend the lesson to cover the technical aspect, too Wink.

Thanks.

Karsten

That is a + 1. Mike Sweeney is an excellent teacher.
I just spent last week with Mike and found it to be
time well spent.

Thank you for pointing me at Mike Sweeney. I wrote him an e-mail to see if we both can meet in his "pedal steel boot camp" at the end of May.
