I didnt know how to word this, but I have noticed some small shavings under the leg attachments on the steel itself. Is this common, and worse case scenario, what would you have to do if the threads become stripped so the legs wont go in and tighten ? Other than making sure that the legs go in the hole straight, what should I do...apply light oil or ? Thanks for your help...I have never noticed this on my other steels, but I am playing out more these days and thus setting the steel up more. Thanks in advance.

Larry
whenever I do routine maintainance on my guitar I always put a drop or two of oil in the leg sockets as well as wiping the threads with a lightly oiled cloth.
