It has come to my attention that you might have an interest in purchasing the operating system
Windows 7 Ultimate version SP1 & OFFICE 2010

I am selling Windows 7 Ultimate DVD --- the FULL Ultimate version.
This is not the retail version from the store shelf, but it is the one that Microsoft gives out at
IT Professional Conference Meetings to Engineers and Sales Professionals who are invited to come to these meetings.

Since it does not have the "Activation" policy files attached to the disk,it was not sold to the public, instead it
is used to promote their software which is a regular practice with Microsoft Corp.

It is not a beta version, trial version, pre-release or anything like that.Although this is a copied DVD and not an
"official Microsoft disk" it works exactly the same, and has even more benefits since it has no activation files, it can
be installed unlimited times on as many computers as you like which is a big plus!

The only down side to this is that there is no Web Based Support from MICROSOFT because it was not bought from them.
This is the same with any preinstalled programs in a store-bought computer. Microsoft states on their website
registration page for windows 7 that it is..."Completely Optional"

It is the full version, and as such it can be used to upgrade from an existing
operating system and can be used to perform a "clean" installation on a blank hard drive.
Windows 7, the next generation OS from Microsoft is now RTM. This DVD is bootable .

I'd be willing to sell it to you for a very low price of $40.-plus a small shipping & handling fee. If you include
OFFICE 2010 with it, I will include free shipping for a total of $60.- us dollars. You simply cannot beat this offer.
This would cost you $299.-plus tax in any store, or $600 for both items, and you can only install the store bought
version on one computer. As I said there are not any limitations or restrictions with this type of version other than
the web-based support, but who really needs that anyways? I don't.

If you want to purchase Windows 7 ($40.-) or OFFICE 2010 PRO ($40..-) or BOTH PROGRAMS ($60.-) email me with your shipping address and inform me which item you want, and I will even send it in advance.

You will receive it in 4-8 business days (sent from outside the United States) and check it out for free to see if it
is in perfect condition (just check out whether it is readable on your system or not) just open it up and see if your
computer can read the files and if so then it will work with your system. Then email me back and let me know.

After I get your payment via an online-payment service such as PayPal which usually seems to work best for most people
I will email you the code-number to install the programs .This is the best method to do this type of business online....
for all parties involved.

I hope to hear from you soon.
Thank You

Feeling lucky?

You don't mention exactly how you came by the e-mail or how the author came by you...

It makes no sense at all that Microsoft would put out such a "release". Even if they did, you'd be buying something that most assuredly was not authorized for resale.

Reads like a great way to pick up a virus too.

This is pirated, cracked software and is illegal to sell or redistribute. The person who is behind these emails is facing prison time and a huge fine if captured and convicted. They could even be extradited from a foreign country to face trial here.

Although the pirate selling it claims it doesn't require activation, there is definitely a hidden registration code. Microsoft does not tolerate pirated versions of its operating systems or Office programs and checks the hidden product codes during Windows Updates. When, not if, they determine that the product key has been stolen and pirated, they will render it as Pirated, with annoying balloon notices in the system tray and desktop wallpaper. You will cease receiving all but the most critical patches. The software will eventually be disabled or hobbled until you pay for a valid license.

I see that the email you received confirms that this pirated Windows software is sent from outside the USA. The majority of pirated software is distributed on Russian and Ukrainian domains. Much of it is produced in China, by counterfeiting factories.

Know for a fact that pirated software is sold by criminal spammers. When you submit payment by credit or debit card, or PayPal, you are giving access to your funds to unscrupulous characters in Eastern Europe.

That depends on the integrity of the people cloning the cracked programs. Keep in mind that these people are performing a criminal activity and are paid from the profits of stolen goods.

It is a known fact in the computer security field that much of the pirated software with cracked licenses also contains a backdoor Trojan. I have found this on computers I disinfect. Somebody downloaded this or that free version of a full licensed program, only to get rooted and botted.

Buying pirated software does not make it more safe than downloading free torrents of the same programs. Criminals know that people want to get expensive programs for free, or cheap. They offer them to you with the intent of profiting behind your back.

It IS illegal. Microsoft, Adobe, Apple, Symantec, Trend Micro, McAfee and most other top software companies have formed a working group to identify and track pirated software back to the people involved. There have been several high profile arrests made in the USA, as well as in Eastern Europe, of software pirates. Convictions typically involve forfeiture of all illicit funds received, punitive damages of millions of dollars (for lost sales by legitimate vendors), seizure of websites, domain names, personal property (BMW, Rolls Royce, Jaguar, Lambrogini), and jail terms averaging 5 years in a US or Russian Federal Penitentiary.

Members interested in learning more about the efforts and successes made in the tracking, arrest and conviction of software pirates, botnet operators and Master spammers, should follow the Microsoft Digital crimes Units posts on Twitter: https://twitter.com/#!/MicrosoftDCU. I follow them ,as well as Microsoft Security, Brian Krebs, Dancho Danchev, Bullguard Security, Symantec, ISC, CERT and several other security sources. All of these are on Twitter.

Malware hidden in pirated software is one means of distributing malware to the masses. Right now, millions of infected PCs are in danger of losing their Internet connectivity on March 8, unless the FBI is able to prevail in getting an extension to a Court Order that is keeping a seized DNS Changer C&C server online, to supply Internet access to the PCs that were infected by the Estonian DNSChanger gang (Rove Digital) that was busted a few months ago. It is estimated that about 400,000 of those PCs are in the USA.

Read my recent blog article about the approaching deadline for DNSChanger infected PCs, for the full details and links to check if your PCs, or routers are compromised.

Finally. That is the right question!

Please display the full source code of the email scam, in your email client, or webmail options. Select all, then copy the entire source code, including the most important part, the headers. Go to SpamCop.net and signup for a free reporting account. Once you receive the confirmation email and click on the link to confirm your membership, log into SpamCop and paste the entire contents of that spam/scam email into the report Spam input text area. Then submit it. This is step one.

SpamCop will process the message then open a page containing the reporting details, Scroll down to the Lower area and submit the report. This is step two.

From henceforth, whenever you receive spam or scam emails, login to your SpamCop account and paste the entire source code into the report field and get it reported.

If you need assistance figuring out how to display the source code and headers, read my sticky articles at the top of this forum. Or, read my blog article about How to display email headers for reporting or tracing the source.
