A little over a year ago I took up Pedal Steel and like many others began aquiring lesson DVD's tab, CD's, you name it.
Today I have a pretty good ($$$) collection from most of the known instructors of steel guitar. All have something beneficial to offer.
A few weeks back I ordered material from Herb Steiner.
In it I found the sound I was after, traditional country steel played like I remember hearing it years ago. Herb also provides quality material easily understood with excellent support.
Wish now I had known about Herb first. |

I have a lot of Herb's material myself. It is some of the best out there.I met Herb at the Dallas show several years ago.He is a gentleman, has a great sense of humor, and one of the greatest that ever sat behind the instrument. That's a fact!

I agree, you can't go wrong with any of Herb's courses. His "Swinging On E9" stuff really shows you how to get some cool soundin C6 sounds on E9. |
