I have a Magnum S-10 I'd like to sell for $1,600.00. Excellent condition I bought it to bring to the Middle East with me but I am in Afghanistan and the weight limits on flights here won't allow me to bring it.

This isn't a student model, but it should take you through most learning situations and then some. $500 is cheap, even for this well used MSA. For sure it will be broken in. http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=212106

You could always post in the "Wanted to Buy" section. But if you are new to PSG, I recommend a trip to Billy Cooper's Steel Guitar Shop in Orange, VA. They have a show-room floor full of new and used pedal steels, and can give you some guidance in buying your first instrument.
