The JERRY BYRD FAN CLUB is featuring an "OKADA" song on this months JERRY's MUSIC page.

It has a great Jerry Byrd solo as well as his usual plethora of fabulous back-up/fills to the vocalist.

I have no idea what the title of this song might be.

Anyone knowing the elusive answer to this nagging question is invited to contact me. Your knowledgeable assistance will be gratefully appreciated, I assure you.

Where did you get the song originally? If you know which track it is on the CD or LP , you can use Google Translate to figure out the English (or Engrish) name.

The song arrived over the transom on a cassette tape so I have no reference material from which to expand my search.

(There should be a law against sharing music WITHOUT SONG TITLES and artists names)

It appears to be a Japanese surname meaning "rice paddy on the hill".

My guess is that it would have been sung by Katsuko Okada, available on one of these two releases. I'm unable to find any samples to verify this guess, though.
