No way that can be Albert Talley,this guys hair is too black ,Talley is gray and nearly bald and bigger than this guy and older than Christmas,furthermore this guy don't appear to be in charge of the show.
By the way does the Drummer happen to be everybody's friend Hugo Chambers??? |

| Tony....Thank you for posting the picture. I believe that's Bobby McBay on drums, Charlie Meeks on bass and Johnny Manson playing fiddle on the right. I don't think thats Jimmy Belkin on the left, but I remember the guy in the picture because he later on started playing steel guitar. Can't place the sax player. Looks like Leon Rausch up front. |

are you still professionally active???

Albert, I've always wanted to ask, for history's sake, about that Bigsby you're playing. I can see that the pedal board doesn't look like Bigsby-made, somebody else added pedals on that guitar, Junior Blankenship maybe? Also, in this photo the name on the front is covered or taken off ( ? ), makes me assume it was originally built for someone else?

| Hi Louie, I've played with several entertainers over the years. Just to mention a few, George Jones in the early 60's, Jean Shepherd, Claude Gray, Tommy Overstreet. I was in the staff band at the Flame Cafe in Minneapolis for about 7 years and backed just about everyone you can think of at that time. I came to Nashville in 70 and have been here even since. I have Cd's of the 2 albums you are talking about and four others. I have one called Pop and Country that was recorded on stage back in Minn. that has Terry Bethal playing guitar, recorded in 1968.The others are, Just Being Friends, Country Gospel Steelguitar, and Tony's Touch. I still play a few gigs from time to time. |

| The guitar was built in 1957 for PeeWee Whitewing. It was used on Six Pack to Go. I got it when I was on the Hank Thompson Band. The pedals were added in Dallas. |
