Donelson American Legion Post 88
2864 Elm Hill Pike
Nashville, Tn 37214-3718
(Donelson)
615-889-9318 (post phone)

The admission price for the show this year will be $25.00/day. The show will start on Friday at 1:00 pm and go until 11:30. On Saturday it will start at 1:00 pm and go until 11:30. The time slots are filling rapidly, but any players who can make it and want to play may contact Jan Jones at 615-822-0347 and let him know, so he can see if he can squeeze you into the schedule, or fit you in if someone has to cancel.
The guest motel for the show is the Super 8 Motel, 720 Royal Parkway, Nashville, Tn (Donelson) 615-889-8887. The motel is located less than a half mile from the Post. The show rate is $55/night and is good Thursday 9-08 through Monday night 9-12. This is so you can go to the Station Inn on Monday night and hear the Time Jumpers with Paul Franklin on Steel Guitar. (Be in line there by 7pm, the cost is $15 each and they do not save seats!)
The Friday night schedule is: Carco Clave, Fred Justice, Dan Tyack, Robbie Primm, Billy Robinson, Ron Elliott, Chris Scruggs, Rudy Osborne, Bobby Bowman, Doyle Grisham, Drew Covington and friends and Lynn Owsley and friends.
The Saturday night schedule is: Weldon Myrick and “Cookie” Jones, Jonathon Cullifer, Audie Shields, Rusty Rhoades, Broken Spoke Band w/ Mike “Cookie” Jones, Doug Jernigan, Mike McGee, Paul Franklin, Russ, Hicks, Mike Johnson/Joni Johnson & friends, Murnel Babineaux, Eddie Dunlap and Bobby Bowman and friends.
Joe Wright and Jim Vest will also be there to play for the show.
Booth rentals are $100 for both days, plus you still have to pay your $25 daily entry fee for the show. Please let us know in advance if you want a booth so we can save a spot for you!

FWIW: The motel is close to the Legion hall in Donelson, not the Station Inn, which is downtown in the "Gulch."

We had a great show and a very good turnout. Thanks to all the great players and back up band. I got to pick with my idol Weldon Myrick and could not keep from grinning ear to ear. What honor and I had a great time. Thanks to Rusty Danmyer and John Burchett and Damon Gray and the Broke Spoke Band for their talent also.

If you missed it, you missed a lot of good music and fun.

WOW>>>What a show. I was only able to be there Saturday. Got to see some good friends, Bobby Bowman, Mike McGee, Capt. Morgan and got to meet a few. Unfortunatley I had to leave in the middle of Hall of Famer, Russ Hicks set, but what I did get to hear of him was great. I guess the highlight of the day was to be able to meet the super Mike Johnson. What a great guy. I could go on and on but I know you all have heard it all already. Had a great time. What more can I say.
