Funny, I don't remember placing an order with a Pizza Hut in ARGENTINA. Boy that pizza sounded good though.

Open and display the full source code in your email client. Select all and copy it. Then go to SpamCop.net and paste it into a spam report.

If you are bothered with lots of similar spam messages, it may be possible to block the sender, or the subject, or the body text. It depends on how you receive your email.

I use MailWasher Pro to filter out spam, before downloading any messages to Windows Live Mail (my email client).

Funny thing is, that I received 2 more today and they have different addresses they are sent from. Everything in the email is identical though. I also receive a bunch of spam (luckily it ends up in the spam folder) for the same product or service and I block them, but it comes back from a different sender, but it is the same email offer. What a drag.

Also, I will not open an attachment from anyone I don't know. Nor will I click a link to another site unless I know the sender.

Richard;
Are you using an email client and POP3 email, or your browser, with webmail?

If browser, does your email provider offer flexible spam filter creation?

Not sure. It's the AT&T Yahoo mail program that I have been using for years. I use Google Chrome as my default browser. Not sure about the spam settings. Can't find them.

As for the POP3 thing, how do you find out this info? I have tried to use some links on websites to email them, and I get a form (I think it might be web-mail, not sure what it is for sure) and I get asked to set up my POP3 and other info so it will work. Where do I find that info? I have hit every button in my email program and can not find this info.

Richard;
It appears that you are using your browser to send and receive email. You are entirely at the mercy of your email service provider. In your case, this is Yahoo. Good luck with that!

Free email providers do as little as they can get away with, in the field of spam detection and filtering.Hotmail has just improved their spam detection systems. Still, tons of spambots sign up for free Hotmail accounts every day and spew forth untold volumes of junk email. Ditto for Yahoo.

If you wish to learn about POP3 email, use Google, Bing, or Yahoo to search for "How to use POP3 email clients with AT&T DSL"

I do know that AT&T/SBC allow their customers to do email via a standalone desktop email program (client). That is where the spam filtering process begins.

If you prefer to use a browser to do email, you will always be at the mercy of the company providing the service, to filter out, or not filter out spam.

I do not use a browser for email anymore. I use MailWasher Pro to detect and delete spam, scams, viruses and hostile exploit links. Whatever is legitimate is then manually downloaded to my desktop email client: Windows Live Mail. I also write spam filters for MailWasher Pro users World-wide.

PM me for details.

I used to be an SBC DSLer. I can assist you if you want help, setting up POP3 email. Howmsoever, you should be able to find the required info on your DSL member's home page.
