Hi guys. After much consideration, I've decided to put my Emmons up for sale. This is a GREAT guitar. I've used it the past 2 years, and it has served me very well. It has a great setup, work performed by Dave Robbins, and is in excellent condition. It is SN 1587 L, and I believe it's a Jack Strayhorn era guitar. It is 8 and 7 with the following setup:
E9:
A, B, C pedals standard Emmons. 4th pedal lowers the B's to A.
LKL: E's to F
LKV: 1st string F# to G, 6th string G# to F# with a split tuner for the G note.
LKR: Ist string F# to G#, 2nd string D# to E, 7th string F# to G#
RKL: E's to D#
RKR: 2nd string D# to D to C#, 9th string D to C#
C6:
standard pedals 5-8
LKL: 3rd string C to C#
LKR: 5th string G to F
RKL: 3rd string C to B
RKR: 4th string A to Bb

I will post more detailed photos very soon, but this should give you a good idea of what the guitar looks and sounds like. I have a couple of options on cases, and I will leave that up to the buyer. Please email for more info and pictures.
I cannot stress enough how nice this guitar is, and how reluctant I am to sell it.

Hey Alan, how are ya?
That's an Emmons 108N humbucker in the E9 and an Emmons single coil in the C6. Both pickups sound great! The humbucker has the classic Emmons sound and is quiet as a mouse on stage and in the studio! |
