I'll be doing a live 2 hour show at The Walkabout 7 - 9 PM Sat June 24th.

This will be the first time I've performed live in several months, since I hurt my back.

I'll be using a considerably downsized setup with small amps and PA gear - Peavey NV112s for Steel and Crate Palomino V32s for Guitar. Plus I have some assistants to tote the gear and set up and tear down etc.

The Walkabout is a very cool place to play or hang out. It's on Hollywood Beach - corner of Carolina Street and The Boardwalk, facing the ocean. That's where Herb Remington stayed when he came here to record, and also where Don and Ruby Burrows stayed during their recent visit to South Florida. It's legendary . .

Next year may see it being torn down to build condos soooooooo I plan on performing there a number of times before that happens!

This is a pic taken when I played there a few months ago:

and this pic of Herb relaxing on the seawall shows the ocean view in front of The Walkabout:

Hey! That looks like my old guitar... but I guess it can't be.

Have a great gig, Rick!

Rick, I'm staying on the beach at Connecticut Ave for the month, so I'll be there to see you. Looking forward to it.

Roger, that's my 57 - basically the exact same guitar as the 56 I got from you. The 56 is sweet - I'll probably use it for this show.

Richard, I'm looking forward to meeting you there.

Ron, this would be a good time to take that vacation you've been talking about . .

Rick, Wish I could be there. I sure hope they don't tear the Walk-About down. We would like to stay there again when we come back.
Make sure you do "ROSE COLORED GLASSES" Folks, Rick can tear this song up. Sounds like John Connelly.

Hey Rick, How did your gig go?? I sure wish I could have been there.
We are have a BSG jam the 16 of July. You ought to jump in the car and come up. It's only 1290 miles. Ha.
