Harlin Multikord. I purchased this off ebay in November and have been using it (very seldom) to learn eight string C6 lap steel. Plays fine and sounds great. Pick up can sound smooth or biting when the strings are plucked very hard. Pick up has adjustable poles for each string. Currently strung for for C6 (A-C-E-G-A-C-E-G). Pedals can be tuned for up to eight pulls; very easy to change. These are "tuning changer" pedals, not pedals in the modern pedal steel sense, although some people do, indeed, use them that way.

Two minor issues: the right front leg's chuck sometime pulls the socket out with it(!) Never affects playing it, but it can be disconcerting when, occasionally, it falls out when you pick it up. Shocked The Boo-Wah switch (the red button between the volume and tone controls) is scratchy. Might respond to a shot of contact cleaner, but I've never tried, so I can't promise that.

Green key and changer covers are intact, though they have a few scratches. Tuning knobs (but not machines) are new; the originals were crumbling when I got it (which is normal for those knobs).

Included is the specialized tool for tuning the changes and a box full of extra changer "pins."

Fun instrument, but I just sprung for a gold tone lap steel and need to sell something to help pay for it.

Asking $325 plus shipping.

Dan

Hi Rick,

I'm all the way over on the seacoast. I'll be at a gig in Manchester nest Saturday (6/4) and could meet you there to show it to you if it's still available.

Shoot...all the way on the seacoast. I'm headed down to PA Saturday to pick up my Shobud! Maybe I should stick to my new Bud for a while before picking up odd new pedal steels. Thanks for the replay though and good luck with the sale. We'll have to meet up one of these days.
