Not the best, but if anyone cares to give a listen, you're welcome to do so.

PS: All comments are welcome regardless of good, bad or indifferent. I know I have a long ladder to climb back up, and I'm only on Rung 1 of 25 at the moment. Smile

Thanks,
Don

Mike,

I'm absolutely Speechless! I honestly am. I didn't know (nor have) the correct words to express my sincere feelings. So let me start by saying this: Thanks! So very much.

You know, when a song has already been performed to complete "Perfection" there is no way of performing up to that quality. And you, sure did do a Super Fantastic job on your song. Outstanting! To say the least.

I would hope that when (or if) I ever do an original, that others would give it a try. I believe that to be the best form of compliment that anyone can give another.

In all honesty, I didn't really feel I'd done it, good enough to put on the tube, to be completely honest. I've still got a long ladder to climb to get back up there. But I feel quite Honored to know that you found it to be acceptable.

Thanks Mike, coming from you, I consider that to be without a doubt, one of the best compliments I've ever gotten! I'm still speechless!

You are a "True First Class Act" for sure.

That ladder I'm trying to climb back up, might seem a bit easier now, but I still have a long ways to go.

And yes! God makes it all possible!

Thanks again Mike!
My Best to you and yours.

Gosh, Thanks so very much to each of you. It seems I'm always lost for the right words to express my sincere thanks enough.

Just a bit of a passing thought here:

I'm finding this whole thing, much harder than just a comeback (try) in my playing. I admittingly know nothing much at all (yet) about what I'm doing with the (home) recording end of it. So basically, what you hear is the raw material. I've got a whole lot more to learn in that area too. So this is all definitely a first for me.

I must add here that my Lil Brother, Nic du Toit, has really put up with my many, many questions regarding the aspects of home recording and everything on just what equipment I'd need, etc, etc, etc. So I sure want to give him the credit he definitely deserves. Thanks Lil Brother!

As has been said before. I've got a long way to go, and a short time to get there, and a ton of tunes I'd like to attempt, but that probably won't ever happen.

My problem is, when I sit down to do a tune, there are literally hundreds, running through my mind and, almost all of them at the same time. I guess that's from the years gone past, and some great old memories of good times, (along with old age). Winking

Thanks again so very much, to each of you. Remember, I can handle negative comments. I know there's got to be folks out here, who doesn't find it all that good. I'm one of them who doesn't. And that serves to make me work on my playing all that much harder.

You're all much too kind.
Thanks again for listening

Hi Dave, Thanks for giving a listen. I've still got a long way to go, but I have my head pointed in the right direction.. Very Happy

After I learn more on the home recording end of things, that will make things a lot easier in that department, hopefully!......

Thanks again

Thanks a whole lot Jeremy,

You can check with Mike, (Sigler). He sells the original backing tracks CD, that includes that track on it. I'm sure he'd get one right out to you.

Thanks again,
Don

Hi Sam,

Thanks a whole lot, and I'm really glad you like it.

I want to give my friend, Mike Sigler, all the credit. I say that because, had he not put it out there, and I had not fallen instantly "In Love" with his tune, it wouldn't have been possible.
Thanks Mike!

And, Thanks again Sam

Hi Don yes I know what you mean about falling for that Song. I could not get the begining of it so I was out last knight to see Ray Walker play and I asked him about it as he plays it real good too.The first strings you hit are the 4 & 5 and I was not hitting the pedals when I hit the strings.I;m learning to play it but it takes me awhile to get it.
