It is what it is--a great value for a beginning player. I have outgrown it, and it's time to pass it on. S-10 3+4, with tuning wrench, new set of nickel Jagwire strings, and custom case. Blemishes are limited to a "bar" ding on the bass side of the fretboard near the eleventh fret line (actually caused by an attempt to transport the instrument in its original gig bag, and the impetus for building the case), and a small paint chip on the corner of the bass side of the changer endplate. Functionally, it's as good as it gets. I have adjusted the F lever stop screw to minimize pitch discrepancies and wear, and both right-moving knee levers are at the optimum compromise of ease and throw length (in other words, the easiest, shortest throw possible). No hysteresis, thanks to a recent thorough cleaning and lube session with Tri-flow. I have gigged and recorded with the instrument, and it is capable of producing quite a pleasing tone.
