Her father's family and my paternal grandmother's family were related (Warmbrodt) and hailed from Switzerland. We used to joke about the holiday greeting cards we never received from Liz. |

I was doing a shipcheck on the USS Lexington back about 1987 and She was to be aboard doing a show to be broadcast on National TV. I was in a very tight passageway when she came through a doorway with about a 12 inch sill. There was no warning and as she stepped very high to get through the opening, I turned in respect of any lady who was in that situation. She walked right by with her nose in the air, without acknowledging my presence, much less the act of not looking when the opportunity presented itself. I guess it didnt matter if I looked or not! Oh Well, shes gone now so I will let bygones be bygones. |
