it work grate soundes grate
best qualitey parts made the 3 pots wold be 300 todays prices they work like new today

Hi,
Very cool amp. Likely it was built from a kit sold by Thordarson, or sold as a complete amp by them, and you can see their badge on all the transformers. They sold precut chassis, transformers, control plates, and everything needed for these early amps, as well as complete setups. I'm sure you're right, 1930s vintage. Just for reference, here's a link to a 1939 Thordarson flyer, and you can see the same amp cage and other similarities (go to the third page of the flyer):

I'd love to have it but I just sold my last thordarson amp a few weeks ago (later, a 1947) and don't have a good excuse for another! Good luck with it. |

Picture filePicture filePicture filePicture filePicture file this amp has only tested with speaker and guitar tubes may be strong maybe week!at 150 i will send free shipping it is not worth a lot to me now it is to old. i dont think a person that dont understand tube ampes needs it may be need of retube ,recap but works good now but tomarow may go bang!!!!
