With sadness I report that my close friend and Steel player Les Green passed away this morning. He found out he had pancreatic cancer about three weeks ago. He played Steel Guitar in mid Mo. for the past 50 yrs. Was also an accomplished Lead Guitar player. Please keep his family (son and grandaughter) in your prayers. - Don |

Don, I'm sorry for our loss, and for placing another post, I did it before seeing yours. Les was a very fine person. Larry _________________ Mullen G2 SD10 3 & 5 The Eagle

So sorry to hear about Les Green's passing. Les and I came from the same neighborhood. He was a fine steel player and an all around talented musician, will send prayers out to his family. R.I.P. Les _________________ HummHead Studio, SONAR 8.5 Producer, PG Music/Band-In-A-Box, GigaStudio... |

I am so sorry to hear about Les. He was such a great guy and, although I have only known him for the last couple of years since he bought my Emmons over the Forum, we had become best of friends over the internet and spending some time at St. Louis last year. We had so much in common from our musical tastes to our political tastes.
It was such a blessing to have known him. I'm so glad he didn't have to suffer long. Our prayers go out to his family. |
