I probably play it wrong but on E9th I start on the5th fret 8th string open then7th string open 6th open then 6th B pedal 5th string back to the 6th then 7th???? I don't have my guitar in front of me so I could be way off...I alternate between my thumb and pointer finger,I've seen people use the 3rd finger and thumb. Confused

Then I jump up to the 12th fret for the part that's in the key of E.

Thanks Stu! I play it with my thumb and index too using palm blocking after second and fifth note. Is it possible to play everything by pick blocking?

Aki, another way of getting that part in A is to go to the 8th fret and use your A pedal and F knee lever and play the strings in this order...

5 2 4 1 3 1 4 2 .... 5 2 4 1 3 1 4 2

5 2 4 1 3 1 4 2....1 2-----(let this note ring a little

I learned this years ago from Tommy Roots.....JH in Va.
