| Our next meeting will be Sun., Dec. 5th. at 2:30PM at the Life Church Bldg. in Katy, Tx. Dir: I10 to Katy. Take Pin Oak exit. South on Pin Oak about a mile and the street name changes to Greenbusch. The Life Church Bldg. will be on your right. Load in at the front door. All players should be there by 2:00PM to set up. We want you to play regardless of your playing level Have 2 tunes ready. There will be a short teaching segment, a player segment , a featured player(no name yet) and the JAM. If you have product for sale,CD's, instructions., etc, bring them. The meetings are free,however. we will have a donation box set up for those who would like to help defray the expenses of operating our club. All musicians, vocalists, and steel guitar fans are welcome. As this is our CHRISTMAS MEETING, treats and soft drinks would be greatly appreciated. Also a Christmas Carol or two would be nice from the players. See you there. Jody, Billy, and patty. |

Well it doesn't look like I'm going to make even one meeting here in 2010. Between being sick this year and then having to work I haven't made one meeting this year. I'm going to try to make as many as I can in the coming year. I miss seeing and hearing everyone play. I always take some sort of knowledge away from the meetings that I have been too. Hope you guys have a great time and turn out. Thanks to Billy, Jody and Patty for keeping the meetings going

Bubba, I'm sorry to hear you've been sick, my friend. I pray for your speedy and full recovery!
I, too, have had a hard time making the meetings this year because of my schedule, but I hope to catch up next year as well.

Had a real bad case of Pneumonia late March of 2010 and still feeling some effects from it. The doctor said it was the worst case he had seen and someone survive.Was out of it for about 2 months unable to work and going through breathing treatments. Keeping a eye on things from now on. Thanks for the well wishes. Hope to see everyone at the meetings in 2011.

Jody, Billy, All,
I'm sorry that I won't be able to be there this Sunday. I'll be helping my wife with a craft show in El Campo. This is a very important show for her business, so I need to be there to help her all day. I will definitely miss seeing everyone and jamming with y'all. Since there will be no meeting in January, I'll look forward to being there in February.
