For those of you that have not tried the Telonics pedal...let me be the first to say...This has become an irreplaceable piece of equipment in my setup.
Mark Tulbert and I did a side by side comparison with several leading pedals, pots and electronic, and the difference it has made in my tone is remarkable. Today I downloaded the new software for programming the device and I have to say, Im very very impressed again. I can program my pedal with my PC, for ANY taper profile I desire. Mr Beatty has put SO much time and effort into this device...It really is a state of the art piece of gear with limitless possibilities...Look for Dave at the dallas show and try one of these out...!!!..you wont want to live without one!!....

@Mickey Adams

I agree. It's certainly top notch engineering. Usually I can be very critical of most products and can easily find faults and features that are lacking or need improvement, etc. As a matter of fact, I told Dave that I would provide feedback on possible improvements but haven't found anything yet, to report and it's been well over a year. Very Happy It just looks great, feels great, has all of the features I need, has been exceptionally reliable and to-date, problem free. To top it all (and the most important part) the overall clarity and richness that the pedal allows to my overall sound is very noticeable and a remarkable improvement to what I had before. Another thing that I noticed is I don't have to change strings as often, they sound lively for much longer.

Note to Dave: I apologize that I haven't been able to report anything back but it's not like I'm not trying. Laughing

There is NOTHING better than Telonics.

And, there's some serious new products from Dave Beaty being developed that will also be 'must have' steel items too !

Wait and see !!

I've said it before and I'll say it again and again. The Telonics VP is the best. There are some really good "other brands" too, but Telonics volume pedals are the very best! Very Happy

I've been playing through one for about a year now and LOVE it. I also did a recording comparrison and got a few outsiders with great ears involved. The Telonics Pedel won out over the other. I can't imagine getting better customer service than I do from Dave at Telonics. They also have a great preamp.
