ok I know this may get a few different hits but all in all it is educational to me. I need to know from trail and error what folks with the dd-3 have figured out to be the best settings. I ordered a new one and it will be here Monday or Tuesday and any input would be a great help to me. also would you putt the effect before or after the volume pedal?? thanks Joe _________________ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvuH7H8BajODaL_wy3_HSJQ |

Howdy Joe
I have mine set: from left to right
EQ ----11:00 oclock
F back---8:30 to 9:00
D time---9:00
Mode--- always at 12:00 or 800 ms straight up
If you want more repeats just dial Feed back clockwise and longer delay time likewise.
Hope this helps ya----Jack _________________ Zum D10 8x5,rev pre-amp, TC M300, Split 12, n-112, IZZY, Hilton vp, Geo L, BJS Hughey, Live Steel |

Thank you Jack yeah its going to be a new toy for me I get to try it out next sat with David Church at the Vermont State Fair. I have read so much about these DD-3s and think it will be what I am looking for. what amp are you using? and also what settings on your amp have you found that you had to adjust when running the DD-3 (dumb question) because everyones taste may be different but still. I would like to be like Paul Harvey and say "and now the rest of the story" Joe _________________ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvuH7H8BajODaL_wy3_HSJQ |

You will like the dd3 I am sure.
I use n-112 Peavey when I use a regular amp and my amp settings are usually:
Pre---3
shift on the 8 at 800
hi -6 to +3 I Have two 112's and they have chip
upgrades usually just use 1 at a time.
presence--- -3 to +3
delay -- none
Mstr gain----always higher than the pre----usually about 4 to 5 _________________ Zum D10 8x5,rev pre-amp, TC M300, Split 12, n-112, IZZY, Hilton vp, Geo L, BJS Hughey, Live Steel |

BOB, I had a DD6 for a short time only and traded it for another DD3. If I remember the settings were pretty close the same. You might have to tweek it some to please you. Jack
FWIW I have the EQ now set just before 9 oclock and like it very well. You might try it. _________________ Zum D10 8x5,rev pre-amp, TC M300, Split 12, n-112, IZZY, Hilton vp, Geo L, BJS Hughey, Live Steel |

It's not EQ level, it's effect level. |
