I have been playing PSG for a month and am already hooked!! I feel really comfortable with this axe! The only frustration was trying to put a new 3rd string G# on after the old one violently came off and left a nice little "whip" mark on my finger. Anyways, I thank everyone out there that contributed to this website, I am grateful for the wealth of knowledge that is here in the SGF. Rick Smile

Yes sir, that is one heck of a starter steel! My guess is that you will not be needing an upgrade anytime soon.

I have the 90 degree cables by George L for my guitar. That cable sticking out was asking to be bumped!

fellow n00b is jealous. Sad

I got whacked by a violent 3rd string breakage the other day, hurt like a sunbitch, even bled a little. Then I broke 2 more trying to get a new one on. I tried a 12, then 11.5 and finally got it to stick with an 11. Mr. Green
