As some of you know, I have been producing gospel music for a few years. One of my groups, The Providentials, has been nominated to recieve some awards, including Southern Gospel Album of the year! They are up against stiff competition, but if some of you fellow musicians could take the time to vote for US, I would appreciate it!
HERE IS AN EASY LINK TO VOTE ON THE SGMFANFAIR NOMINEES. THANKS. http://www.sgmfanfair.com/vote3.html
*Male Vocalist-- Joe Young
*Tenor-- Tim Johnson
*Bass-- C. O. Stegall
*Album-- "All About Heaven"
*New Excelling Artist Award-- Providentials Qt.
*Young Excelling Individual Award - Tim Johnston
If you would like to visit their website: http://www.providentials.com

Reggie, I voted and I listed to the clips from their web. I assume the steel on those clips would be you. Their version of the songs on the clips were my kind of SG. Great CD. I may just have to order one of those.
Good Luck

I was the Producer/Steel Guitarist for the album mentioned. They do not have a steel guitarist that travels with them. |

I think they will be presented to the winning groups in August. We are up against some heavyweights too.
Mr. Tate, thanks for the compliments. Coming from a great musician like yourself, it means a lot.
Don S. I loved your playing on a Cathedrals Quartet album I have from the late 70s. "Sunshine and Roses" is awesome. I hope you have a copy...if not, let me know.
Thanks to everyone! |
