The next item up on the block in "Crazy Bob's Toybox Clearance Event" is a Peavey Session 500 amplifier. This one has no speaker. It was being used as a telecaster amp by the guy I got it from. It works, is loud as heck, sounds great with the tele. It could most likely use a good cleaning, as it is not quite as clean sounding with the steel as I'd like (but sounds great with a Tele!). Either the string effect doesn't work, or I don't know what It does. I've been told that this is most likely a dirty switch. $180 bucks + shipping (it weighs almost a ton I'm sure!)
If you are close enough to the Chattanooga Tn area to pick it up or meet me somewhere, we'll work out a big discount!
These are the Cadillac of amps, and I had intended to keep it and fix it up, but it's just too heavy for a lazy old fart like me to carry around. And besides, I have lots of amps, and something has to go. If you really need the speaker, we can probably work something out.
Pics to come.

There's got to be someone who needs this worse than I do. Don't be afraid to make an offer. It has to go. |
